A great way to save money on food and drinks while enjoying local restaurant/bar scene is to take advantage of happy hour specials offered by bars or restaurants. Generally, happy hours run from 3 or 4 p.m. to 6 or 7 p.m. depending on the establishment and the happy hour specials are offered in bars or bar areas of the restaurants. The happy hour specials will knock off 50% or more from regular menu prices on food and drinks.

One of the better happy hour deals around, especially during NFL season.
Location: Multiple locations, including Brea, Rancho Cucamonga and Newport Beach.

Happy Hour extended until final play of Monday Night Football game on Mondays.
Drink specials include: Domestic Pint - $3.50; Craft & Import Pint - $4.25 - $4.75; Well Drinks $4.25 - $4.75; Wine by the Glass $2.00 off; House Martinis $6.00.
Food specials include: Half-priced pizzas and appetizers including fried calamari, chicken wings, spicy tuna roll, california roll and chicken lettuce wrap.
