Al Davis

Al Davis, lengendary owner of NFL's Oakland Raiders, died in his home in Oakland, California. He started his career in NFL as a coach and became an owner-general manager-de facto coach of the team.
He was a maverick who hired the first black coach in the modern era and latino coach and fought the establishment within the NFL when he moved his franchise to Los Angeles and back. He was 82.

An animator who created Mickey Mouse and built a company that entertains billions of people with its movies, television programs, theme parks, cruise line and resorts died of lung cancer in Burbank, California. He was 65.

A Hall of Fame boxing trainer who trained Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and 15 world champions in a long career died of a complication from a blood clot developed during a flight home after visiting Ali for his 70th birthday at a rehabilitation center in Clearwater, Florida. He was 90.
